Purpose
Lab Managers use this page to manage user's access / user type(s).
User Types
A User Type
is a custom tag that can be added to any user. The User Type
can be used to create filtered lists of users when creating or editing a field on the Diagnostic Request
or Diagnostic Order
forms.
Roles
Roles provide a user permissions within the lab. Each user may have up to one role.
Currently those include:
- View Access
- Diagnostic Order Form Editor
- Lab Tech
- Lab Manager
Actions
- A Lab Manager can create, edit, and delete
User Types
. - A Lab Manager can add or remove a user via Net ID / UIN.
- A Lab Manager can change a user's Role for the lab.
