Diagnostic Labs - Overview
This is the entire process, from beginning to end, of submitting a Diagnostic Request
and receiving a Diagnostic Result
.

Explanation
The process for submitting a Diagnostic Request
begins in EzyVet, with the Clinician filling out a Diagnostic Request Form, with the last step of the form residing in the Diagnostic Lab application.
Once the Request
is submitted, a Clinic Technician delivers the Samples
to the lab.
At the same time, the Lab Manager(s) / Tech(s) are notified of the Request
on the Queue page within the Diagnostic Lab app. Once they receive the Samples
, they kick off the Test
.
Once the Test
completes, the Queue page will notify the Manager / Tech (if the equipment's Result
can be auto-imported).

If the Result
appears to be in error, the Test
will need to be redone.
If the Result
gets approved, and any needed PathologistFindings
are recorded, the Request
can be finalized. Finalizing a Request
attaches the Results
to its respective case in EzyVet, and notifies the Clinician via email of the Results
.
