Change Request 440803 Stale Device Removal - Jamf devices.

Description: This change is to remove stale devices that have not been in communication with the Jamf Pro management server, or any other sensor. Devices that meet the criteria "Have not checked in since 1/1/2025" will be removed from the server. These devices will be cross-verified in Axonius to ensure no other service has detected these devices in use to rule out an issue with Jamf Pro communication.

--Benefit of Change: this will remove devices that may be included in reports unless specifically accounted for, skewing report numbers. It will also free up Jamf Pro licensing and allow for more accurate numbers for billing and reconcilliation.

Change Request 370418 Removal of stagnate devices from Unified Jamf.

Description: Details of maintenance:

• UEM will delete the device entries for devices that have not checked into Jamf since January 2024. The list of devices has been crossed-reference across Axonius to confirm they do not check in with any other TAMU sensor as well

Benefit of change:

• This will remove stagnate devices from the server, these devices are consuming a Jamf license as well as impacting metrics and reporting unless specifically accounted for in searches and deployment scope.

Impact to customers:

• none, these devices have been checked to not check into sensors and  no longer in use (either surplused or lost devices)

Change Request 201733 Jamf Pro - Remove Unnecessary Configuration Profiles.

Description: Details of Maintenance: We will remove profiles from devices that no longer need to have a profile and delete some configuration profiles that are not needed.

Benefit of Change: This is an initial cleanup of the Jamf Pro servers. We will be removing some configuration profiles that are no longer needed in order to help reduce server load.

Impact to Customers: During testing no notifications happen for this set of changes being made.

Change Request 193405 Jamf Pro - Upgrading Jamf Pro from 11.15 to 11.16.

Description: Details of Maintenance: The Jamf Pro test and prod servers will be upgraded to the latest version.

Benefit of Change: There are new features available in the latest version.

The main new feature of interest is called Compliance Benchmarks and can help us get compliance metrics and reporting based on CIS benchmarks.
